The story in this delightful Christmas book is told simply, yet it has much to say. It imparts the importance of family traditions and cultural traditions; it shows children and adults dealing with the loss of a loved one during the holidays; and it celebrates the "magic" of the season. The colors and the details in the illustrations are spellbinding. This is a book that families can read again and again and appreciate in a new way each time.
