Hey listen, James Taylor is a musical legend! Yet not one KCLS patron review ever for an album that came out in 1970 that was his best all time album ever! Now those who disagree, write your patron comments above mine. It is something James Taylor deserves. After all, he is in the American Songwriters Hall of Fame. He was the second performer after Paul Simon to receive such a high honor.
Just checking! Did you know that I am an original member of the popular Cornell Brothers? If James Taylor can be overlooked, then I am not going to take it too hard if you weren't aware of my fame and fortune! I have been a member of the Cornell Brothers for more years than I care to admit. My younger brother Peter Cornell are usually joined a several guest artists for all our shows, which are usually private party shows. Now we are giving a rare free public performance with the details below:
KCLS Des Moines Regional Library
Sunday, July 8th
2 PM
The activity room
Because of the huge demand for seats, please arrive a little early so everyone get a comfortable chair. Get ready for a once in a life time musical experience. Everyone is invited. That includes you, your family, your relatives, your neighbors, but no pets allowed.
(That is a library rule and we believe in following the rules).
TRIVA
Peter Cornell's son Matt is one of the following:
A. A street musician in New York City.
B. A judge of movies for the Sundance Film Festival.
C. An Elvis impersonator who played even Las Vegas.
D. Both B and C
E. None of the above
(You know the drill. You must come to the concert on Sunday, July 8th for the amazing but true answer).

Taylor's unique clear boyish voice of his best hits as "Fire and Rain," "Country Road" and "Sweet Baby James," mostly just him and his guitar. But some tunes like "Oh, Susannah" or "Oh Baby ..." could use some back up singers or at least with more instruments like "Steamroller."

The Music CD was okay – but not one of my favorites not worth the long library wait.
