This was such a nice little story about friendship, trust, and adventure! It follows Jemmy, the whipping boy of "Prince Brat", who is forced by the prince to run away with him from the castle. Jemmy and the prince dislike each other very much at first, but, as they have to escape through sewers, befriend a girl and her pet bear, and hide from two bandits who wants to turn them in for a reward, they really have no choice but to trust each other.

When the prince arranges for their return to the palace, poor Jemmy fears the worst, but things workout for the best at the story's satisfying close." (Novelist Reviews)
