This was a fantastic book to introduce my 2nd grade class to our science unit about water. The story is short and concise, the colors are amazing, and it helped the students "think big" about the importance of water and its forms.
We followed this with a watercolor art project in which the kids painted large raindrops and clouds in Mr. Asch's style. Beautiful!
