Read on 2015-Aug-6.

Daniel once borrowed the book from his school library, and this is the 2nd time to read it because he said he likes the story and likes the party time as much as the girls and boys from the story.

See the excitement of "A Party" on every page! Best clothes! Two salads to bring! Playing with the cousins! Every page tells a story that all kids can relate too. Barbara Reids communicates emotions in all her plasticine pictures! Then, at the very end, feel the exhaustion of... THE PARTY!

this is such a Canadian standard to celebrate children's birthdays. What a good choice to celebrate a royal prince.

This is a wonderful book, my little girl has checked it out many many times from the library, it never gets old because every time you read it you see something missed before, beautifully written and superbly illustrated with plasticine artwork.

Fantastic book of the life of a young girl as she goes to a family party.

Barbara Reid is one of the greatest authors of all time--hey, she even won a reward!!--and be sure to check out her other books!
