The book includes information about plants, such as common names, botanical names, heights, blooming periods. information includes details about exposure, moisture, habitats, ranges, descriptions, maintenance and requirements, propagations, good companions, related species, wildlife, and miscellaneous. At the back of the book, pictures of flowers will help you to chose flowers for your garden.

This book is excellent in that it gives you a list of 101 flowers native to Canada! It offers great pictures and easy to read information about each plant. This book is a must read for any gardener, even beginners like me!
