I read many chapter books when I was younger but this one felt like an accomplishment for me for many reasons. It was a bigger one for me at the age when I read it and the themes of this book taught me a lot as it did for Dave, the main character. To this day I remember being drawn to the cover and the story plot and finishing it rather quickly. It helped me feel more confident as a reader and led me to reading more and longer length of books as I got older. This is a great read for young girls and boys, this story of confidence and acceptance would relate to many even now.
