For Carrie, Chris and Cathy the attic was a dark horror that would not leave their minds.
Of course mother had to pretend they didn't exist and grandmother was convinced they had the devil in them.
But that wasn't their fault. Was it?
Cathy knew what to do. She knew it was time to show her mother and grandmother that the pain and terror of the attic could not be forgotten...Show them. Show them -- once and for all.

Cuhhhhlassssic! Petals on the Wind never gets old, if only for the scene where Cathy dresses up like her own mother at the Christmas ball and confronts her about her misdeeds. Oh, and when you get a whiff of what really happened to Cory, oh, man. I love this book! I'm re-reading the whole series for kicks.

After reading "Flowers In The Attic." I was curious about the sequel. I think the mother got what she deserved. But Cathy, she wanted too much. Her brother, doctor, lover.

Oh Cathy. I swear she literally drives people to their deaths. They don't want to be around her unrealistic thinking and just die when they're around her. I liked Cory. Before he died.

It was an amazing book. It had a lot of drama and it was very interesting.
