Parents, I would recommend this book to your child. This is a very good book on acceptance, which is something all children go through in their lives. It happens at a earlier stage, but none the less parents it happens, and this is a good book to help your little one. Reading this picture book makes you feel as though you are Sassy dancing on the Milky Way. If you want a short bed time story, or even just a good book for your child to read, this is a good one.

I would personally like to recommend Dancing in the Wings to all parents. This book is a quality read because the theme appropriately reflects the emotions and experiences of children today, it also broadens understanding and perspective on the world that opens up new possibilities, as well as tells the truth about human experiences. Many children today are not like the others. We are all different, made differently and grow at different rates. This book teaches us that no matter how people may treat us and how things may look grim there is always a place for us. Sassy teaches us to always push for what it is you want, be bold, and to take chances.
