Thayer, Mrs. Emily V. Hurley, Mrs. Addie H. Jewell and Mrs. Sarah G. M. Hill. Vacancies in the list of alternates were filled as follows: Mrs. Mar.y F. White, Mrs. Hattie A. Bray, Mrs. Abbie D. Danforth, Mrs. Flora A. Smith, Mrs. Francena M. Jillson and Mrs. Annie Howard. On motion of Mrs. Burleigh, voted, That the Department President have power to fill all vacancies that may occur in the list of alternates previous to starting for Louisville. Moved by Mrs. Brigham, That we hold our customary reception at Louisville. Carried. Voted, on motion of Mrs. Fuller, That all arrangements necessary for securing a suitable room for the reception be left with the Department President. Voted, on motion of Miss Elliot, That the Department President be Chairman of the Committee on Reception, with power to appoint the other members of the committee. Voted, on motion of Mrs. Danforth, That the Department Secretary be the committee to have charge of binding reports and presenting them to libraries. The Department President read a series of resolutions from J. P. Rice Corps No. 113, Westminster, viz.: --Whereas, It frequently occurs that Woman's Relief Corps Charters are draped by order of National, Department and Corps Presidents at the same time, it seems desirable that some distinctive mark be placed thereon; therefore Resolved, That whenever a charter be draped by National or Department orders, a suitable yellow or red ribbon be added.
