I loved this book. No gore, no bad language and no sex, but a wonderful story. I would recommend it to everyone.

The novel would appeal more to an adolescent audience. It is an interesting read but there is so much magic and intergenerational baggage caught up in psychic gifts, I would not recommend this to readers looking for the usual Hoffman drama and angst.

The impression is that you've read or seen something similar somewhere. Nothing new. Much like "The Girl Who Chased the Moon" a novel by Allen Sarah. You can characterize it as reading for youth.

Love ambushed you, it lay in wait, dormant for days or years.
