Growing up in Newfoundland, it was great to have this to 'sing' the anthem with my daughter as she grew up so she was familiar with it. Great illustrations and although the book only covers the first verse, all verses and music is included in the back to carry on with all the verses!

Newfoundland's Ode is presented along with colourful paintings of a Newfoundland rarely seen today. Outport life, Mummers and traditions are depicted. An interpretation of the meaning behind the pictures is presented at the back. Most relevant to those with a Newfoundland background or those who have visited.
