This book is a bit antiquated in the use of a choke chain. I would highly recommend the DVD "Train your Dog: the positive gentle method" which the Library has. Another book is "No bad dogs", which enables you to tap into the experienced of a very talented dog trainer who shares tips that are different than the usual books.
