This album brings Toots & the Maytals together with a very prestigious and diverse cast of collaborators, older and younger, Jamaican and mainstream, country and rock or even rap, offering a really interesting take on the Maytals' songbook. The opening track with Willie Nelson ("Still Is Moving To Me") has deservedly gotten much airplay on reggae stations. "Pressure Drop" with Clapton, or "54-46" with Jeff Beck bring classic rock. I was also quite impressed by how authentic No Doubt sounded in their collaboration on "Monkey Man"--and surprised that Gwen Stefani does't have a verse to herself: she only sings backup to Toots!
Alas, the track "Careless Ethiopians" with Keith Richards is damaged on the copy I borrowed.
