Amazing how he reduces calories in many comfort foods. My only complaint is the rather long, at times, ingredient lists. Would rather just eat smaller portions (reasonable portions) of our traditional comfort foods and skip all the torturous steps.

This was a great recipe book for ideas and cutting out calories from favourite foods. I was a little disappointed with there being pre-made packaged items in the ingredients list. It would have been nicer to have more recipes made completely from healthy "fresh" foods not packaged marinara sauces, etc... It is a great starting point on learning to eat healthier though...

I checked the book out for a trial run to see if we liked it before buying it.

The "(Almost) General Tso's Chicken is delicious and my husband also really liked the Macaroni Salad.

I like the recipes for base sauces (mayonnaise, stir fry, etc.) which can be made once and then stored in the refrigerator to use within the next week or two.

We haven't tried any of the desserts because the reviews on those haven't been very good.

I do plan on purchasing this book as well as his new one.
