This was my very first Stuart Woods novel and it made me a life long fan. He was a wonderful writer. This book is full of complex characters and superb plotting. If you've been reading what he's been writing for the past 6 or 7 years, give this a try. You won't even believe it's the same author. I used to purchase all of his books because I looked forward to settling down with a good book. Now I only borrow from the library. Why pay a dime for what is essentialy beach reading? Something simply to keep you occupied during a plane ride. It's incredibly sad to see him become a paycheck author. He's now a shadow of his former self. For good reads, I now turn to Harlan Coben. I gladly purchase his books.
