I loved the story and made me keep on reading and reading!
The cover doesn't look catching to me and doesn't fit with the depths of the story at all! So don't be fooled by the 2 champagne glasses!

Katie Lavender has had a few hard knocks in her thirty years. While she has some good friends and an ok boyfriend, she lost both her mother and father in the four years prior and Katie still hasn’t really moved past their passing. She lives in her mother’s old house in Brighton, England and having just been let go from her media position, Katie is at a crossroad in her life. It’s now been one year since her mother’s sudden death Katie and receives a mysterious letter summoning her to a lawyer’s office, a solicitor Katie had never heard of until now. What could he possibly want from her? Both her parent’s estates had already been settled long ago. At the lawyers office Katie is given information that changes her past, present and future – can she carry out the wishes contained in the letter? Does Katie want to? And how many other lives will this information change? A very thought provoking novel that covers many serious life issues in a very unassuming way. Reviewed by DH

Another great novel by Erica James. This one had more secrets with potentially big changes than some of her other novels. Character development is good, they are believable; a couple are maybe almost too good to be true, but perhaps there are truly people like them. This is an enjoyable read, with just enough tension to keep me reading on into the night.
