An absolutely laughable and horribly executed train wreck sequence combined with subtitles that fly across the screen so fast as to make it impossible to follow - I turned it off after less than 10 minutes.

I tried watching it with subtitles and dubbed in english, but it was too confusing to follow the plot. I don't recommend it.

The movie is a bit over-rated. It is nice that there is English audio then I don't have to follow the subtitle. Overall, I think the movie is just ok.

While I found this movie somewhat hard to follow at times, mostly I'm sure is do to the language barrier, I found the story to be very original. There are several good fight scenes and the shootouts are a lot of fun. I would recommend this to fans of action movies with a comedic western element.

Judging from other people's comments this was not what people expected. Too bad. It's a funny, clever, fast-paced take on westerns made by one of the more original Chinese directors.

Horrible. The attempt at comedy is a complete failure.

The title and trailer suggest this is an action-packed crime drama. Not so much. It's more like a comical battle of wits film. Some of the dialogues were wittier than other Asian films, but that got old and dull after a while. The rest of the film - actions, acting, script, storyline - provides only average entertainment value. Chow Yan Fat playing both a local tyrant and a dullard double of the tyrant was fun to watch for a few scenes.

I find some of the comedy scenes hard to understand and some outright ridiculous.

Outside of box had no indication that it is region 3 ... no play in my blu-ray player.
