Butch Fenton, major of the American army, comes for Pancho Villa's head and he's gonna get it. The 'Punitive Expedition' proved to be the last major campaign of the U.S. Cavalry. The U.S. government responded by sending its General Pershing to try to capture or kill Villa, and that 'Punitive Expedition' lasted from March 14, 1916 until February 7, 1917. Chicogrande is the military 'right-hand man' to Villa.

The story of "Pancho Villa" should be told as a prequel to the 9-11 case with Osama Bin Laden. The staging and feel of this movie are quite fine but the narrative leaves quite a bit to be desired. Imagine what a director like Pontecorvo (Burn, Battle of Algiers) could have done with this. Not quite the call to revolution that it might have been, but many images continue to stick in my memory

One of the worst movie I have seen. Slow and badly acted.
