When Maggie Ferringer reports for jury duty, she never expects to be kidnapped by an escaped convict. When Cain Cannon grabs Maggie to be his hostage, he didn't expect the lady he was getting. After spending a day with Cain, Maggie believes that Cain did not commit the murder he was in jail for. She swears she is going to help him, and the two of them are on the run, knowing that their days might be numbered. This was a very good book from beginning to end.
