I love this series! I didn't even know there was a television series made after the books! The adventures are cool, and there are a lot of jokes to keep people interested. Very entertaining series. Readers of the series should note that the personalities for the characters are slightly different from the way they are depicted in the books, mainly to make the episodes more entertaining. However, it doesn't hinder the series. The only reason I gave the episodes 4/5 stars is because sometimes the plot/mystery conclusion doesn't make sense. Regardless, this is still an entertaining family adventure with lovable characters, humor, and suspense!

The series follows Geronimo Stilton, a famous journalist working for "The Rat Gazette". Geronimo frequently has to solve mysteries with his quirky family members to get a story for his paper, or find ways to thwart the rivalry of Sally Rufmaussen, the journalist for the rival newspaper, The Daily Rat.
In the first episode, Geronimo is granted an exclusive interview with the secretive prince of the Bandal Jungle. Coincidentally, the rare shufongfong lizards are stolen from the museum at the same time. Geronimo and his family find themselves traveling to the palace of the Bandal Prince to solve this mystery.
In the second episode, Sally Rufmaussen tries to find a way to keep Geronimo from beating her to report about a special event in New Mouse City. She finds that Geronimo recently placed an ad for a maid/butler. Sally uses this to her advantage to keep Geronimo distracted...
In the third episode, mysterious and superstitious events have been reported at the museum, linking the disappearance of a famous anthropologist many years ago. Believing that there is a logical explanation for the events, Geronimo goes all the way to Africa to get to the bottom of this mystery.
In the fourth episode, Geronimo is disheartened by the fact that Sally has mysteriously beat him to reporting all of the biggest events recently. Geronimo and his family believe there might be a spy involved, and try to get to the bottom of the problem. Meanwhile, Geronimo has been entrusted in keeping the famous Talia Squeaks out of the press until New Mouse City's centennial celebration.
