Turbo is a movie about a snail named Turbo who has a dream of being fast and partaking in races but sadly he’s one of the slowest animals on the planet until one day, he gets into a car accident and is infused with nitrous oxide and given super speed. Now that his dream of becoming fast has become true, Turbo wishes to partake in the Indianapolis 500 but, this will be no simple task as Turbo is up against professional racers in race cars. Turbo is filled with moments of laughter, heartwarming moments, and some inspirational moments. I really enjoyed watching Turbo and I would recommend it. Overall, I would rate Turbo 4.5/5.

A load of crap. Even "Cars" was better than this one.
Its something to throw your kid in front of when your too busy to search for quality material.... but do you want to?
Its the story of inadequacy that is overcome by wishing and artificial stimulants. Do you really want this to be a lesson for your kids? Sure, you can take the short and easy path to success. You can succum to the influence of a gang. Or you can stay away from drugs, listen to true friends and the voice of reason, work hard to improve your skills and one day accomplish your goal.
This story is about the short track. Taking the easy way.
Dont submit your kids to this lesson. Instead do what Kennedy said: "we do this and the other things, not because it is easy, but because it is hard".
Its a stinker.

Pretty standard, but some cuteness to it.

This was a great DVD for family night. It is good for a "feel good" movie about overcoming odds & believing in yourself & your abilities as well as encouraging viewers to expand their talents and "go for the goal." :) :)

Kid: "Hey little guy, are you lost?"
Chet: "No."
Kid: "Are you a boy or a girl?"
Chet: "Why is this so hard for everyone?! I'm a boy!"
