Colditz Castle, a notorious prisoner of war camp in Nazi Germany, was supposed to be escape-proof. But at the end of World War II, a group of British officers dreamt up the ultimate escape plan: a two-man glider made out of bed sheets and floorboards. Now a crack team of engineers and carpenters rebuild the glider in the same attic using the same materials to find out if the legendary glider plan would have succeeded.

Produced by PBS in 2011, this 60-minute documentary explores and recreates the escape from the notorious escape-proof German prison by glider.
It appears almost impossible!
After a 70-year wait, however, the team finally makes an impossible mission.
What an amusing and amazing escape it is!

Interesting documentary concerning the escape of some prisoners of war. Unfortunately, the disk was damaged , stopping me to see most of the film. Librarian advised.
