Good story, but full of implausible situations brought on my the main characters through obvious naivete and thoughtlessness. After enough of them keep recurring it gets tiresome.

Things were interesting, but the 2 main story lines didn't correspond as they typically do in Clive Cussler's books. There seemed to be less humor in this book, as well, and while the characters could think of incredible ways to save their skins at the last minute, they couldn't be bothered to report their position or findings to anyone before getting captured or hijacked.

It was still a fun read, as long as you can look past some of the negatives.
