Good film. Not as good as Das Boot but still quite suspenseful. An excellent example that greed will get you in the end and not in a good way, right?

Surprisingly good movie for almost an 'unknown', cast of good actors... Keeps you in suspense till the end with a good gripping plot and story line. Try it - its entertaining and well done and I actually really enjoyed watching it. Thx.

Reasonably interesting formula thriller. Not a great film, but has a good cast, good sets, and good pacing. Mostly predictable story with just a couple of twists. Scoot McNairy is an interesting casting choice for his character, and he does a great job with it.

good movie . Takes along time to get to the submarine portion but then its entertaining. Jude Law is good and the set design is great. worth watching if you like Sub movies

An adventure film that has room for its characters and a gripping adventure. It's a good old fashioned tale. I enjoyed it.

I can only anticipate in wonder, not knowing if he was rescued in the end, thats a whole nother country.

In the 1960s and 70s movies like this were turned out by the dozen, a lot of them based on novels by Alistair MacLean, including a submarine one, Ice Station Zebra. All-male cast, the inevitable treachery and sacrifice. That said, this one is quite exciting, if you suspend disbelief and enjoy the ride, i.e. the dive. British and Russians working together - that will be the day!

I thought it was a great movie with the odd witty line. I liked the way it portrayed a group of men, who didn't necessarily trust each other, be forced to work with each other. I found the acting good. Were there bubbles? I don't know. I was concentrating on the story. Did they salvage the gold bars. Watch until the end and find out.
