The only thing that I mildly enjoyed was the intermittent animated scenes. Other than that, I found the movie boring and dry.

Was more like a home movie.
Wedding costumes were interesting. Closed captions made it hard to follow.

Sorry to be the kill joy on this one, but three of us watched this, and three of us felt like we had wasted too much time on it. The main guy is too self-absorbed and immature! And not humorous. The interviews with people outside his family were more interesting and funny.

Lame.

Meet the Patels offers a heart-warming glimpse into how an American-Indian family relates to and interacts with each other - the expectations of the parents; the challenges the children encounter while trying to bridge the Indian culture of their parents and the American culture in which they were raised; and the compromises reached.

A funny and likeable view of arranged marriage customs in India. Well done!

Our family enjoyed viewing this movie together. It was funny and endearing. It had a great message about family obligations, true love and being true to oneself. The animation helped to hold the kids interest in the movie.
