This book is not for kids. The cartoon pictures have no meaning in this book. If you do not know basic chemistry & some basic science, such as alkaline, noble, nuclear fusion, reactive, lithium carbonate, bipolar disorder, diode laser, berylliosis, inertia, alloy, stable transition elements, ..., you won't get much from this book. However, if you are high school student or an educated person who wants to have a quick look of some fun facts about elements, this book is fine.

A great and understandable introduction to the elements. This book was helpful with its categories of elements that had bold and vibrant colours!

This is an outstanding book that looks at most of the elements in the periodic table, giving the reader a brief history of each and its current uses. Twinned with cartoon representation of each element, this easy to read book will be a hit with students and a great bathroom book for adults.
