Very light read. I gave it 100 pages and then gave up as very little action takes place, and the protagonist seemed pretty stupid. Don't recommend. Lesson learned - most books taken over by a ghost writer after an author has passed aren't worth reading.

Jack Ryan Jr. is a little off his game in this book. Without Google earth, GPS and tracking devices Jack would still be wondering who wanted him dead. To be honest I didn’t care. I miss the old Jack Ryan.

Shouldn't have wasted my time. Jack travels the globe, literally stumbling from one incident to another... With no plan or job, where's the money coming from?

A continuation of Clancy's Campus series, carried on since his passing. The characters remain a pale shadow compared to the older characters, and that will never change. This one features Jack Ryan Jr., on leave from the Campus group, facing a direct threat to his own life that leads to a proverbial wolf in sheep's clothing and a shadowy group of special operators.

If Jack Jr had made a phone call to a couple of his former associates the book could have been 250 pages shorter, and should have been.
Clancy is probably rolling in his grave.

Not worth the time. Poor plot and worse dialog. Ònce I read a harlequin romance out of curiosity and it had better plot and dialog than this. For example: "Rene lay in a pool of blood". I thought that the next chapter would start with "it was a dark and stormy night". I read the book in about 6 hours and would have been better to go for a walk in in tha sun.
