If you enjoy chronological bios, this may not be for you. I rather enjoyed the essay format - liitle snippets of Sagal's facinating life, intimately told as if to a good friend over a glass of wine on a quite evening of reflection.
I liked the first couple of seasons of Married with Children. She does write about that show. How she got the part and how the show came to an end. I would have liked to know more about her role in Sons of Anarchy. Her performance in the first few episodes was stunning! She is a bada@@ in that show!
"Married with children" was that rare show, a pure farce with absolutely no serious moments that loaded up on "sitcom jokes," yet worked. A great show! I have yet to read the book, it's on hold at the library right now, but I'm sure it will have some serious moments.
