"Meseganio Tadela, 74, immigrated to Israel from Ethiopia 28 years ago with his family. He has chosen to zealously retain his culture, talks very little, and hardly speaks Hebrew. After losing his wife, Meseganio sets out on a journey that leads him through his children's homes. The plot line of this movie is like a roller coaster with violent scenes juxtaposed with slow paced domestic scenes. The "cinema verite" quality of the unpolished videography gives this movie a "documentary" feel. Although filmed in Israel, the inter-generational conflict presented in this movie occurs everywhere.

Frightening or Intense Scenes: The movie opens with a man struggling with a goat that, in hindsight, we realize is to be slaughtered and butchered to serve at the funeral of the wife of the main character. The roughness of handling of the goat may upset some viewers. Vegans are advised to not watch this movie.
