Chester and Wilson are set in their ways--until Lilly moves to the neighborhood. "Henkes's vision of friendship captures the essence of the childlike...every sentence is either downright funny or dense with playful, deadpan humor....Behind each book is a wide-open heart...that makes all of Henkes's books--and especially this one--of special value to children."--Publishers Weekly.

A lesser known Henkes book, perhaps, but it's solid GOLD as always.
Chester and Wilson are PARTICULAR friends, then Lily moves into the neighborhood with some particularities of her own. As always, Henkes has his pulse on all that is quirky and best in his character's grade school personalities.
