I approach trickster tales with great glee, and this was no disappointment. Smartly written, it examines colonialism, the role of Native Americans in Hollywood, and other concerns both human and mythic through a lens that's at times satirical, and at times serious. It's a human novel, at its heart, with Coyote running through, laughing at everyone. Thanks to Jessie Sherman, who recommended this!
