Auden has just finished her senior year and looks forward to spending the summer like she usually does: staying home and studying, while occasionally attending the parties hosted by her mom for her grad students. However, instead of following routine like she usually does, Auden decides to spend the summer at the attractive beach town where her dad and his new family reside. I really love Sarah Dessen's writing. Previously stated by my plethora of similes in the first paragraph, it's just a comfort to be able to read her work. The book really brings up Auden's perspective, which I loved. Rating: 4/5 - @momo of the Teen Review Board of the Hamilton Public Library I, at first, didn't really get the reference to "What Happened to Goodbye". Or I think that's what it said in this book. But I guess the location must be connected somehow. Once again, this amazing author has spun together a real relationship, in the form of a young adult story. The characters contrast against each other and fit in all the right places to let the story flow, in the best way it can. I really don't know why a bunch of people just assume all of Sarah's books are "those books all about girls, relationships, and guys." Truthfully, they are all unique in the ideas, and the creativity really does flow nicely when you look for it. 5/5 Stars - @Siri of the Teen Review Board of the Hamilton Public Library
