If you take this film literally, then it is rated zero stars. If you let yourself imagine that these are unlikely events, yet took place, maybe it is worth 3.5 stars. If you like Robert Redford and James Gandolfini and want to see them in a film that you previously failed to see, then watch it, realizing that the events are possible, yet highly unlikely (showing off Gandofini’s great acting ability of being surprised, screwed, angry, half insane, and totally wrong). I don’t see it as a great film, just a fun movie. Maybe I’m I missing a whole lot of symbolism, metaphors, or allegories, but it just doesn’t rise to the level of making a serious effort to ponder.
