I was prepared not to like this series but was pleasantly surprised. It falls into the "cosy" category of mysteries as all of Christie's works do, but it's been updated to the 50's and is a very stylish version of an old favorite. The actors are excellent except for David Walliams (who's he?) as Tommy Beresford, whose low energy and bland countenance is a spectacular piece of miscasting. Not to be taken seriously (even by the actors), it's fun to watch them taking the mickey on dear old Agatha.
