If you are in the least depressed do not read this book. From the beginning to end Ellery Adams created a world of betrayal, agony and sorrow. I've enjoyed every book in "The Books by the Bay" series but this newest installment I should have skipped. The only redeeming message was the importance of friendship but that was all. I don't know where Ms. Adams head was when she wrote this gloomy book but clearly she was not in a good place when she did.
